So we usually only cover Disney World but we are switching gears a little and setting our sights on Disneyland. I’m a huge fan of the #DisneyParksLIVE live streams and for this, we are going west coast. Several years ago the Electric Parade left to Disney World and returned home to Disneyland. When can it be viewed?
Later this week, you’ll be able to watch the show in its entirety! Tune in Friday, Aug 2nd at 8:55 pm PT. For those of us on the East coast, it will be at 11:55 pm ET – so it will be a late night. The Electrical Parade will make its way down Main Street USA again for a limited time.
The debut of the Main Street Electrical parade took place at Disneyland 47 years ago! It has undergone changes along the way but has become an iconic nighttime spectacle. This will return from August 2nd until September 30th, 2019. The video will be available on Disney Parks blog and on youtube. If you miss out, they usually keep the link up for a day or two.
If you get a chance to tune in, I would take the opportunity! While it was at Disney World, this was one of our must stop and watch parades. The parade brings in character favorites from Cinderella to Alice in Wonderland and of course Mickey and Minnie! The parade has a nostalgic feel between the lighting and the synthesizer inspired music to it that will bring out your inner child. Catch a viewing of this limited-time show before it goes back into retirement!
