Disney World 2022 Packages available!

We are at the start of 2021 and already looking towards 2022. This feels earlier than usual with everything that has occurred in the past year. But Disney had released its Disney world 2022 packages to getaway next year. Currently, you can book your vacation up to 499 days ahead of time. So you can book a Disney vacation until July 3rd when this was written. The actual deals for next year have not been released yet. It should be noted that if you book a travel package now and Disney comes out with a deal, you can add it on later on. 

Deals for 2022 will be updated later on when they become available. Likely to be released midsummer.

Current deals for 2021

There are a couple of deals that have been released through 2021. You can get an extra 2 days in the park after you book a resort stay. Or you can save up to 35% off select hotel rooms. You can get 2 extra days if you stay for 4-nights/3 day room and ticket package. This is for guests staying from January 8th to Sept 25th, 2021. 

The room discount is based on the resorts that you are staying at. This is from January 3rd through April 17th, 2021, and has to be booked before March 15th, 2021.

Things to remember for 2022

Faces masks are going to be required through the end of 2021. However, we do not know if this will continue into 2022. According to Disney, we will likely see this lifted in 2022 but not sure when this will specifically take place. 

Disney world will be ending the Magical Express in 2022. For those that don’t know, this was a free bus service to transport guests from the airport to their resort. It is unknown if something will take its place. At this point, guests should plan on Uber, Lyft, Minnie Van, or rent a vehicle. 

Early theme park entry will replace Extra Magic Hours, which had ended upon reopening in 2020. This will allow resort guests to enter the parks 30 minutes prior to general opening each day. 

Park reservations

The park reservation system will continue through 2023. This is to help Disney maintain a certain level of guests at one time. It is also important to remember that a resort stay does not guarantee access to the parks. This you can do ahead of time to decide which park you would like to go to during your trip. If you miss out on a certain park with the initial reservation, you may be able to go to the other park later in the day through park hopping.
