Disney Summer 2020 Deals
We just started the New Year and Disney is already getting a jump on the summer season! If you are wanting free dining when you go to Disney then you are in luck. Disney summer 2020 deals have been released and it includes dining. The one caveat is that it is fairly limited this year and has to be booked on or before January 16th, 2020. Keep reading to find out how to get the free dining this summer at Disney World
How do I get free dining?
In order to get free dining, you will need to stay at least a 5-night/ 6-day minimum and will need to include part tickets that have Park Hopper option. This is for limited days which include June 27-28th, July 5th-7th, and August 29th-September 8th. If you already have a Disney packaged booked, you can go online and modify the reservation to add on free dining. It is a lot easier this year doing it online, compared to having to call in years past.
Which resorts get free dining?
One thing to keep in mind is that the Disney Summer 2020 deals are limited to certain resorts, so make sure to check availability. It is also important to remember that to qualify for the deal, you have to be staying at least 1 day during the dates listed above.
Deluxe Villas
With the deluxe Villas, you can get the Disney Dining plan free at select resorts which includes
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House

Moderate Resorts
The Moderate resorts will get free Quick Service Dining Plan and include

- The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Value Resorts
If staying at the Disney Value Resorts, you will qualify for the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. This includes resorts:
- Art of Animation Resort – Family Suites only
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Pop Century Resort
If you are on the fence, this deal can save you some money depending on your goals for a trip. We normally do park hopper tickets, so this is not an added cost. If you are planning on going to just 1 park per day, then the added cost may not offset the free dining.
Limitations for the resorts include 3-bedroom villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Campsites, Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Bungalows at Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
Room Discounts are live
A new deal has been released on 1/6/2020 for Disney Summer 2020 deal which includes room discounts! This includes a percentage off from deluxe villas to the value resorts that range from 10% to 25% off the room rate. The rates will vary depending on the days, as well as which resort you are staying at which is listed below. Screenshots have been provided of the lists as the percentage varies quite a bit. The room discount is when you stay at a Disney resort on most nights from April 1st, 2020 to September 12th, 2020.
Deluxe Villa Resorts
These have quite a range of discounts depending on the date and resort you will be staying. The Discount starts at 10% and goes up to 25% the later in the summer you go. Baylake Tower and Polynesian Villas and Bungalows are discounted at 10% during the entire season.
Deluxe Resort
These resorts are similar to the villas with their discounts. Contemporary, Polynesian and Wilderness lodge are all discounted 10% during this special offer promotion.
Moderate Resorts
The discounts on the moderates are slightly less from 10-20% discount on their rooms. For the higher discounts, then Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness range from 15-20%. Port Orleans – French Quarter is 10% for the entire season.
Value Resorts
For the Value resorts, the range is from 10-15% with the exception of the Art of Animation suites. The value resorts, including Art of Animations Little Mermaid standard room, have a 10% discount from April 1st through April 25th but increase to 15% from April 26th to Sept 12th. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Suites are up to 20% when staying most nights from April 26th to September 12th.
