New Halloween fireworks show at MNSSHP

Along with the changes coming to the Magic Kingdom this year, is a change to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Disney announced last week that a new Fireworks spectacular will make its debut this Halloween season. This will be the first time there has been a new Halloween fireworks show in the past 14 years. The name of the fireworks show has not been announced as of yet. Beyond the fireworks, the show will feature lasers, lighting and of course state-of-the-art projections.

We will see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald on their adventures with trick or treating. The new show will bring back Disney villians to cause trouble for our favorite four Disney pals. The adventures will take them though a mysterious haunted house with everything from waltzing ghosts and dancing skeletons. This will be replacing the Happy Hallowishes fireworks spectacular.

With that being said, there will be a lot returning to the MNSSHP including the parade and Villains spelltacular. The ever-popular Hocus Pocus Spelltacular will return with the Sanderson Sisters hosting the event along with many other villains including Maleficent and Oogie Boogie. Twice a night you will also be able to see the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. This is probably one of the best parades that Disney has to offer with a ghoulish soundtrack and ghostly floats. If you are able to attend one of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween parties, you should take advantage of this.

Not only are the shows captivating and worth the money but the trick or treating as well! The Magic Kingdom has plenty of trick or treating spots set up around the park with designated areas for allergies as well. If you like Halloween, then this party has something for everyone! The new Halloween fireworks show looks to bring a whole new feel to the show with a story behind it.

Have you ever been? What do you think?
