Summer is heating and Disney is dreaming of the cold. That’s right, we are halfway to Christmas. Which means details have been released for the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party 2024. This will take place at the end of the year and run for a couple of months around Christmas time. For many this is a must attend ticketed event. It runs from 7:00 PM to midnight on select days. Now to jump into the details.
What we know about Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickeys very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled to return to Magic Kingdom beginning November 8 and will run until December 20, 2024. It will bring back guest favorites including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks performance, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration castle stage performance. Guests can enjoy complimentary cookies and cocoa while visiting the festively adorned park and holiday-themed activities. The cookies can change from year to year, so be on the lookout for more information as it gets closer to the party.
When can I buy tickets for MVMCP?
Guests of certain Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green will be able to purchase tickets beginning July 2, followed by general sales on July 10. Event dates include:
- November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
- December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20
There has been a slight price increase in ticket prices this year. Event tickets for 2024 cost $169 to $219 per ticket, while tickets for 2023 ranged from $159 to $199 per person. Whether it is worth it, is an individual basis but overall the party does have a lot to offer.
However, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. But this discount is valid only for the following event nights:
- November – 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22
- December – 1, 3, and 5
One thing to note
On the day when their ticket is valid, ticket holders will be allowed entry to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM. There is no need for an extra day theme park ticket or theme park reservation with these date-specific event tickets.
