Disney World Spring 2022 Changes!

Just when you thought that Disney was done with all of the 50th Celebration announcements, they release even more! Disney has bought out the new shows with Harmonious and Disney Enchantment, they decide to bring out more. There will be new 50th celebration changes coming to Disney World Spring 2022. This will include several changes including a new Cavalcade coming to Magic Kingdom starting this month! Disney has been on a roll with new announcements.

New Cavalcade!

The brand-new “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade!” will kick off the festivities on February 11th! This super-sized cavalcade features nearly 30 of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters, including Baloo and King Louie from “The Jungle Book,” Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” José Carioca and Panchito from “The Three Caballeros.” Also includes Moana, Merida, The Incredibles, and more – including Miguel from “Coco”. Likewise, Miguel will be making his Magic Kingdom debut in his mariachi best.

As you may be aware, it isn’t the only highly anticipated event set to take place along the parade route. I’m thrilled to announce the return of the famous Disney “Festival of Fantasy” Parade. This will return to Magic Kingdom Park on March 9th, the parade’s first anniversary! This has been a fan favorite since the debut.

The Disney “Festival of Fantasy” Parade has been dazzling audiences since its inception, bringing favorite characters from “Tangled,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Peter Pan,” and more to life on gorgeous floats that seem as if the characters themselves had a role in making them. The fire-breathing Maleficent Dragon float, which towers 26 feet above the parade path and measures 35 feet in length, is back and as ominous as ever. Make sure to make time during your trip to check this out!

A New Show is coming!

“Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire,” a glittering gathering, will premiere on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage on February 25! Favorite scenes from “Tangled,” “Frozen,” and “The Princess and the Frog” will be included in the show. Which has been enhanced for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, as well as a new opening and finale featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends dressed in their sparkling, EARidescent attire. There will be several shows per day. There will also be a brand-new original song called “Where the Magic Feels Like Home.”

These new and returning attractions join the all-new entertainment that debuted with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration. This will join “Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade,” “Disney Enchantment,” and “Harmonious” – with more to come when “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!” and “Fantasmic!” open later this year. The new shows will add even more to do while on vacation. There could be more announcements in the future as Disney has been on a roll which we will keep this updated with any changes.
