It has been an exciting few weeks with Tianas Bayou Adventure officially opened with a virtual Queue and with the future Lightning Lane Multi. But now that we are getting into the big party seasons at Disney World, there was a question of how Disney would handle the bigger attractions during the after-hours events. It has been speculated about any future Tiana Bayou Adventure standby lane. However, Disney has recently announced that during the Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights in 2024, it would remove the virtual line for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and TRON Lightcycle Run.
Moreover, there will only be a standby line for both attractions on Halloween Party nights. Which will likely be the same during the Christmas parties as well. Of note, the daytime running will remain the same currently.
What does the future hold for Tianas Bayou Adventure Standby lane
Both attractions presently use a virtual line during regular park hours. In addition, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Lighting Lane is part of Genie+ which will soon be Lightning Lane Multi pass. TRON also has individual lighting lane purchases available beyond the virtual queue. Disney has previously stated that, at some point after the opening period, it will remove the virtual line at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It is unclear how long the virtual queue will be in place for day to day operation.
Was this expected?
This is not a huge surprise as they have had Tron as a stand by line during last year’s parties as well. It was unclear if this would still be the case with the new Tianas Bayou Adventure. This has not been confirmed for the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Part. However, it is likely to be the same.
The dates of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are August 9, through October 31, 2024, for a total of 38 nights.
