Grand opening of Toy Story Land

I’m not going to lie, I’m extremely jealous of those that are able to get to the grand opening of Toy Story Land tomorrow 6/30! This is going to be an amazing expansion to Hollywood studios with 2 big new attractions.

The first being Slinky Dog Dash which is a family style coaster that appears to be a low-key ride with dips and turns. Slinky Dog Dash will have a height requirement of 38″ and looks to have similar type seating to that of 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. The other new attraction is Alien Swirling Saucers which will be based around our favorite toy aliens flying around in their toy flying saucers with the rumor that they are trying to capture your rocket toy vehicle with none other than “The Claw.” The Alien Swirling Saucers will have a height requirement of 32″.

I’m also glad to see that Sarge will be back on patrol with the Green Army Man Drum Corps. When they are out during the day, make sure to stop and play “Sarge Says” along with other games.

Disney has gone all out with creating a world that makes you feel like you have been shrunken down to toy level, even down to the benches that look like they are made out of Popsicle sticks. Toy Story Land is one of the biggest things that I am looking forward to seeing in person next year. This is one of the big changes coming to Hollywood studios, the other is Star Wars Galaxy’s End which is due to be open in 2019!
