Anyone else pumped for Epic Universe? Universal Orlando has slowly released information about the highly anticipated park. Now we have some news on the Epic Universe Preview Center at CityWalk Orlando this June. Which will be offering an early glimpse into their upcoming theme park. There has been a preview of the preview for reporters and select guests.
Epic Universe Preview provides a lot
The centerpiece of the Preview Center is an expansive model of Epic Universe. Which details every planned feature of the park set to open in 2025. One of the coolest aspects of the model is the AR. Visitors can use augmented reality on compatible devices to bring parts of the model to life. One example that had been reported by journalist was that by focusing on The Dark Universe area reveals a burning windmill, flying bats, and a wolfman in the forest.
Moreover, We have a good idea of what is within the 5 lands within the park but not all the details have been released. Guests can explore these areas via the model and augmented reality. The Preview Center is expected to remain open for the next year as Universal prepares for the park’s grand opening. Additionally, the Preview Center offers a range of new Epic Universe merchandise. This includes items from The Dark Universe, Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, and Super Nintendo World available for purchase.
The Themed Lands
Epic Universe will consist of several immersive lands, each meticulously crafted to transport guests into fantastical worlds.
- Super Nintendo World: This highly anticipated land is designed to bring the beloved characters and environments of Nintendo games to life. Visitors can expect interactive attractions, including a Mario Kart-themed ride and an interactive environment where guests can collect virtual coins and power-ups.
- Universal Monsters: A land dedicated to Universal’s classic monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman. The attractions will blend cutting-edge technology with classic horror, offering a spine-tingling experience that pays homage to these iconic characters.
- Fantastic Beasts: Building on the success of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this land will delve into the magical universe created by J.K. Rowling. Visitors can expect to encounter creatures and characters from the “Fantastic Beasts” series, with immersive rides and detailed environments that capture the magic and wonder of the Wizarding World.
- How to Train Your Dragon: This land will transport guests to the Viking village of Berk, where they can meet dragons and participate in interactive experiences based on the popular DreamWorks Animation franchise. Rides and shows will highlight the bond between humans and dragons, offering family-friendly adventure and excitement.
This will be an incredible addition to Universal Studios when it opens. I advise any one in the area to check out the preview when it fully opens.
