Encanto Flower and Garden Festival

I don’t know about you or your family but we can’t seem to stop talking about “Encanto,”. This is one of the newest movies streaming on Disney plus which is also Academy Award-nominated. If you and your family can’t either, you need to visit this year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Here you will be able to step inside the wonderful garden inspired by the magical Madrigal family.  A new “Encanto”-inspired garden will let you explore a lush tropical jardín inspired by the movie (streaming on Disney+). It has a powerful message with strong female characters like Julieta, Isabela, Luisa, and of course, Mirabel. Don’t miss the chance to check out Encanto Flower and Garden area.

When will this be open until?

The garden, which opened a couple of weeks ago, will be open until May 22, 2022, and is located near La Isla Fresca Outdoor Kitchen in World Showcase. This is between the Morocco and France pavilions. This year, La Isla Fresca is serving three types of arepas: one with melted queso fresco, one with shrimp, crushed avocado aj, and tomato sauce, and one with chorizo. Along with the lush tropical garden, there is also a path you need to take. Part of the garden includes a path that you can stroll on inspired by Antonio. Antonio is the youngest member of the Madrigal family with an affinity for animals.

This is only one of the many new improvements to the Walt Disney World Resort inspired by “Encanto”. You can also savor tasty delicacies and snacks inspired by the women of the film at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This is part of Celebrate HER Story in honor of Women’s History Month.

Other parts of the festival

While you’re at EPCOT, I recommend paying a visit to the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase. Here is where you’ll find two more amazing garden destinations. Extraordinary Orchids is a breathtakingly gorgeous area packed with orqudeas, while the Tropical Rainforest Garden allows you to learn about the Mexican rainforest’s rich biodiversity and adaptive species. There is a lot to see and taste at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. With enough to keep the entire family entertained.
