If you have ever been to Disney World, you know that it can be incredibly difficult to get reservations especially at some of the bigger table service restaurants. Advanced reservations are almost a must when you are planning a trip. What this means is that you have to make reservations 180 days in advance. This can take a lot of forethought about what you are planning that day…6 months in the future. Which this is not necessarily for everyone. Some people like to have a more laid-back vacation and make changes on the go. Disney has started to provide help to find Disney world same day dining reservations.

I think this will be a great addition to the Magic Kingdom especially for those that are annual pass holders that are not necessarily planning out their meals. It may help to get Disney world same day dining reservations but often times this can be done through the Disney world App. If this is you are once in a lifetime or once every couple years trip, then I would still suggest reservations at the table service restaurants. This ensures that you will get the restaurants that you want. It appears that this may be a limited-time test to see how well this works. It is also been noted by Chip & Co that it is being tested at Epcot.
If you are staying onsite at Disney World, you can still call Dining reservations from your hotel room for asking the lobby concierge. The more direct way for same-day reservations is to walk up to the restaurant you’d like after it opens. You may get more lucky depending on the time of year that you go. Overall, I think this will be a good addition to the parks to have cast members to try to help get Disney world same day dining reservations. Both to help assist guest by the reservations that they may not have been able to get otherwise and to help annual pass holders that more necessarily plan their reservations ahead of time.
