Disney Room Discounts 2019 – Time for Sun and Fun!
Along with the free Dining plan that was announced yesterday’s 1/2/19, it was also announced that Disney has rolled out their Disney room discounts 2019 with their Sun & Fun room offers. For those that aren’t staying during times that provide free dining, you may be able to score up to 30% off of your rooms during other select times.
When to plan to go?
If you’re planning on staying between the end of April and the end of September then you may be eligible for up to 30% off for your Walt Disney World resort rooms. This applies to most dates during this time frame. Discounts vary from the type of rooms that you can book. If you are staying at a value resorts then you can get up to 20% off and for a moderate resort up to 25%. if you’re staying at a deluxe resort or a deluxe Villa then you can save up to 30% of your trip. The discounts do vary from hotel to hotel and from the dates that you booked through. Here is a snapshot of the discounts.
What does this mean for you?
It can save you quite a bit of money depending on the number of days that you are staying. You’re staying for say 7 days at a value resort with a family of 3, your bill would likely be around 2500 for the trip (including tickets and value room). Which the discount you could save around $250 or more on your overall trip. This is not a bad deal for the Disney room
To me, this is a great time to visit Walt Disney World especially the end of April in May. Both because of crowds and as this is right in the middle of the Epcot International Flower and Garden festival. One of my favorite times to go! Would the discount sway you to go? Leave us a comment below
Which is better?
Both the Disney room discounts 2019 and the free dining are good options. They both save around the same amount of money. Both are for 7 days at a value resort with the dining plan, the prices fall within $30 of one another. Both times will save you a bit of money on the overall costs, so it may come down to what works best for you!
The discount for the room is a little better than the dining plan but it is not by much. It still comes down to what works best for you and which is more important to you. Both are good deals and can save you a little money. The cost for either trip are within $30 of each other: both including 6 days tickets, quick service dining plan and value resort room for 7-day/6-nights.
