Disney Halloween Party 2022 Details!

Amazing news from Disney today! In 2021 Disney had come out with the Disney Boo Bash but this overall missed the mark for a lot of guests. Now we have found out that Disney will return to its roots. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) will return to Magic Kingdom in August 2022. Moreover, there could be more details released. So stay tuned for any potential changes later on. Let’s dive into the Disney Halloween Party 2022.

This announcement of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party’s triumphant return was made as part of Disney Parks’ wicked “Halfway to Halloween” wicked celebration. Which included “special announcements, a few “shriek peeks,” recipes for dreadfully delicious dishes from the parks, and not-so-spooky tips.

When do the parties take place?

Disney will run MNSSHP from August 12, 2022, until October 31, 2022. This is huge that  Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be staged on certain nights at Magic Kingdom. MNSSHP will be held for the first time since 2019. 

Beginning May 18, 2022, tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can be bought online or by calling 407-939-4240. Beginning May 12, 2022, guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels will be able to purchase tickets. Tickets will cost between $109 and $199. The following are the dates for the event:

August: 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, 30th 

September: 2nd, 5th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th, 30th

October: 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 28th, 30th, 31st

From 7:00 p.m. to midnight, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be held.

During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall, ghosts and ghouls of all ages are welcome to dress up in their favorite costumes and enjoy all things haunted. 

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party visitors will experience event-exclusive entertainment, infamous Disney villains, frightfully delectable food dishes, and more as part of this limited-capacity event!

What are the additions to the Halloween Party?

The following are some of the highlights of the 2022 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party:

As a precursor to “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” which features floats loaded with Disney Characters dressed in their Halloween finest. Anyone from Disney villains, and the Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers, the Headless Horseman will ride his eerie steed along Main Street, U.S.A.

Halloween wouldn’t be the same without sweets, right? Guests may go trick-or-treating for M&M’S, SKITTLES, SNICKERS, and other Halloween favorites at sites around Magic Kingdom Park during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests will also get a reusable trick-or-treat bag with a memento 50th Anniversary celebration and Halloween design, which is new this year.

During the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage play at Cinderella Castle, join the Sanderson Sisters as they summon their terrifying colleagues to brew the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” Party Potion.

Celebrate the holiday season with your favorite Disney characters as they take over the park for their annual holiday bash.

Several famous Magic Kingdom rides, including Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, will have overlays customized for the event.

Jack Skellington will host “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular”. AKA the Pumpkin King himself! Projections, visual effects, and lighting are combined with pyrotechnics, music, and Disney characters in this must-see midnight event.

Menu dishes inspired by fall tastes and the Halloween season are available in both sweet and savory varieties.

NEW! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will include event-exclusive step-in picture opportunities in honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Guests will also get a Halloween-themed 50th Anniversary celebration commemorative print in addition to the reusable trick-or-treating tote bag.

Also remember

On the valid day of their ticket, ticket holders will be welcomed to Magic Kingdom park as early as 4:00 PM, allowing them even more opportunities to experience park favorites before the event begins! There is no need to purchase an extra day theme park ticket or make a theme park reservation with these date-specific event tickets. Unless you are going to the park earlier than 4 pm.

UPDATE: Since we initially published this, Walt Disney World has announced date-by-date pricing.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members receive a $10 discount per ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on various event evenings.

Purchase Tickets Soon — Starting May 12, 2022, guests of certain Walt Disney World Resort hotels will be able to purchase Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets. Beginning May 18, 2022, all other Guests will be able to purchase tickets.

Guests of Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan, and Dolphin Hotels. Including Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort can take advantage of the early purchasing opportunity.

So there you have it: Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will return in 2022. And will feature nearly all of the attractions from the previous year’s event.

Despite having a parade, stage entertainment, and event-only pyrotechnics, the 2022 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will start at a $20 cheaper ticket than Disney After Hours Boo Bash.
