Disney World Attractions Not Reopening Initially in July

With the official Disney World reopening today and the cast member and AP preview is already done, we have a better idea of what the parks will look like. It has been reported that some of the rides/attractions will be slower to open. This is similar to shops that will be slow to reopen as well. This could be for a variety of reasons from infection prevention, money-saving effort, or even not enough staffing at this point.  There are a lot of different reasons or an accumulation of all of them. A lot of the attractions that will remain closed for the time being are ones that have closer seating and difficult to maintain social distancing. Here are the Disney World attractions not reopening initially today.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Attractions

EPCOT Attractions

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Attractions

Magic Kingdom Attractions

We may see these attractions start to slowly open Anywhere from the next few weeks over possibly the course of months. It may simply come down to compliance with the new safety regulations. But only time will tell. From what we have seen through the cast member and AP preview, Disney has done a great job at providing social distancing while still keeping some of the magic alive

What do you think of these Disney World attractions not reopening initially with the rest of the park?
