We are creeping closer and closer towards the spooky season. Halloween Horror Nights will see The Weeknd there! This will be a brand-new addition to the Halloween Horror nights. The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare, a brand-new haunted attraction, will be featured at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando for this year’s event. Consequently, We have a little information into what is the theming around The Weeknd horror nights debut! Per reports, it will be inspired by The Weeknd’s critically acclaimed album, After Hours.
According to Universal, visitors will enter the Weeknd’s head and a bizarre living nightmare with macabre characters and ideas drawn from his songs and short films. Secondly, guests will be challenged to survive the night while imprisoned within the terrifying world of The Weeknd’s vivid imagination. This will be from which one may never escape, as they’re stalked by horrifying toad-like creatures, slashers, along with other unfathomable horrors. In the past, The Weeknd is recognized for using many horror images and imagery in his music videos and concerts, despite not being a typical horror film.
How with this tie into Halloween Horror nights?
Abel ‘The Weeknd’ Tesfaye says, “I always wanted my own Halloween Horror Nights haunted house as Halloween has always been significant to my music. So this is a total dream come to life. I feel like my music videos have served as a launching pad for a collaboration like this, and I cannot wait for people to experience this madness!”
Similarly, The Weeknd has released his fourth straight #1 album, After Hours. This has produced a series of top-charting singles, including “Blinding Lights,” “Too Late,” “Heartless,” and “In Your Eyes.” Additionally, several tracks from the album are going to be adjusted for a horror movie-based soundtrack. Subsequently, this should add to the fright at Halloween Horror Nights.
Additionally, Universal Orlando today disclosed details and costs for additional extras for this year’s event. Which includes the Frequent Fear Pass and multi-night tickets.
