One of the best shows at magic kingdom, especially to get out of the heat, has been Mickey’s Philharmagic. Donald Duck gets himself into trouble as he preps for the Mickey concert, which brings him through many beloved Disney movies along the way. Mickey’s PhilharMagic was first opened back in 2003. We are going to be getting an additional scene to the great show. Per the Disney Parks Blog, Donald will now drop into a new scene featuring the world of Coco. This should bring a lot to the show with Mickeys PhilharMagic Coco scene.
What will the scene include?
There has been a lot of talk about bringing more Coco-type experiences into the Disney parks since the theatrical release. We have seen a little bit of this at the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. This will bring a great musical number to the Magic kingdom. We know that this will include “Un Poco Loco” along with the dazzling color and graphics. One of the best parts of the show is the 3d glasses, which will make the world pop towards the audience. It may also include new music brought to life but we will have to see when it comes out.
When will this be added?
For Magic Kingdom at Disney World, this will begin for the Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. But this isn’t the only park that will get the Coco update. The new scene will also be added to Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris. Both of these parks will get the update on July 17th. With merging Coco into PhilharMagic, it will be the first time Disney and Pixar characters will be on the same screen. Hopefully, we will see more in the future as well.
