If you are a Marvel fan, then this weekend there was a huge announcement! Disney has finally confirmed Marvel Phase 4 schedule of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This has a pretty solid slate of movies and Disney+ exclusives that will be rolling out in the next couple years. If you have followed the MCU, then you know that phase 3 of the universe came to a close with Spiderman: Far From Home. This opened up more possibilities to the universe, which we will not spoil here. With that being said, let’s see what will be in the works!
Upcoming Movies:
May 1st, 2020 – Black Widow
November 6th, 2020 – The Eternals
Feb 12th, 2021 – Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
May 7th, 2021 – Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
November 5th, 2021 – Thor 4: Love and Thunder
Disney Plus Exclusives:
Spring 2021 – WandaVision
Spring 2021 – Loki
Summer 2021 – What if…?
Fall 2021 – The Falcon and Winter Soldier
Fall 2021 – Hawkeye
Plus
There are also 2 untitled films that will be coming out Fall of 2020 and Summer of 2021. Will update as soon as this is released! The biggest surprise that was announced was a remake of Blade, one of the first comic book movies starring Wesley Snipes. We do a later post with more of a breakdown of each of these shows and movies. They have announced that these shows will tie into the movies more than they had in the past. Agents of Shield has taken things from the MCU but have started to deviate from it more recently. The new shows will be a lot more in sync with the movies. The next couple of years should be cinematic dominance for the Marvel movies!
