This is a super simple recipe for monkey bread with cinnamon roll! The prep time is under 15 minutes and can be a great treat for the entire family! This is our goto for holiday mornings such as New Years Day. King Louie’s Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread takes no time what so ever and makes quite a bit. You can adjust the recipe depending on the number of people you are feeding. This recipe will feed 4-6 people easily. I like this recipe better than traditional monkey bread due to the increased cinnamony flavor!

Ingredients
- ½ cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon (divided)
- 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon roll
- ¾ cup of Brown sugar
- ½ cup of Melted butter
- Metal Bundt pan
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Grease the bundt pan with either baking spray or with butter.
Using a gallon-size plastic bag or second bowl – mix the ½ cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and put them in the cinnamon/sugar mix. Mix or shake the mix to cover the cinnamon roll.
In a mixing bowl, add the ¾ cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ cup of melted butter.
Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the bundt cake pan, pour any remaining mix on top of the rolls
Then pour the Brown sugar/ butter mix over the cinnamon roll pieces
Bake for 28-35 minutes – or until the mix is no longer doughy and outside is golden brown.
Let cool before serving 5-15 minutes.
Before serving, can slightly warm the cinnamon roll icing and pour over the bread. – recommend scooping into a piping bag or sandwich bag with the tip cut off and spread over the monkey bread.
Cut or pull apart to eat!
Enjoy!
The cream cheese glaze that comes with the cinnamon rolls adds a lot to the bread that has to be tried. We made this recently and our daughter absolutely loved it! They are definitely a great treat every so often. I have seen some recipes that call for more sugar but the cinnamon rolls themselves already have enough sugar. You may be able to cut the recipe down to ½ cup of brown sugar.
But the ¾ of a cup seems to be a happy medium. You can also go with the cinnamon rolls with traditional icing rather than cream cheese. You can use any brand of cinnamon rolls that you would like, we usually go with Pillsbury but the brand doesn’t matter. I recommend storing any leftovers in tupperware to prevent it from drying out too quickly.
I have seen another version that uses a cupcake pan to make smaller versions of the cinnamon roll monkey bread. With this, it will likely take less time to cook, so check often.
