Festival of the Arts 2022!

We are already into 2022 and hope everyone had a fun and Happy New Year. It’s time to turn our attention to Epcot for the festivals. Soon it will be time to kick-off of the International Festival of the Arts 2022. This is the first festival of 2022 and brings a lot to Epcot over the course of 6 weeks or so. There is plenty to keep every member of your family content and have something to do. If you are looking for a good time to go to Disney World, this is something to check out!

When does the Festival start?

The Festival of the Arts starts on January 14th, 2022, and will run through February 21st, 2022. There are things to do around Epcot every day and provide plenty of options. This includes food, art, and performances. 

Entertainment at the Arts

Animation Academy

This will show you how to draw your favorite Disney Characters. If this is of interest, make your way over to America Gardens Theatre. 

Art Defying Gravity

This will be more of a street performance style show, to witness amazing acts of strength.

Chalk Art

Make sure to check out creative artists who turn regular pavement into incredible works of art.

Disney on Broadway

This is a special concert series that will take place at Epcot. All of these will be performing live show tunes from Broadway.

Art opportunity for kids – Figments Brush

If you have little ones, they can help Figment and his quest to learn more about art. This includes a scavenger hunt. Moreover, this will take place around the World Showcase. This will cost $9.99 for the map and stickers. The little ones can then search for Figment who is hiding in famous pieces of art. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Figment-themed picture frame. Once you have completed this, you can return to World Traveler or Disney Traders to get a special surprise!
