Goof, where’s my car? Typically there are 2 ways to get to Disney world: taking paid transportation (uber, bus, etc) or driving oneself. However, if you are driving yourself, finding your car after a long day in the park can sometimes be challenging. Disney has you covered now. How many of us may recall a day when we couldn’t locate our vehicle in a parking lot at Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort? Disney is adding to the My Disney Experience and adding a Disney car locator!
When does this start?
Later this year, Disneyland Resort will also offer the function, which will debut at Walt Disney World Resort this summer. This will be a free service that helps to locate your car. This is done by recording your parking information using location technology. The functionality reportedly works best when Bluetooth, notifications, and Location Services are enabled on your mobile device.
Which parks will have this?
All four Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, Disney Water Parks, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will all offer the function.
How to use the car locator?
To use the automobile finder, open the My Disney Experience app and press the picture on the main screen, or utilize the Feature menu. After that, it will prompt you to input your parking details. Car locator can help you with the specifics if you decide to enable location rights on your smartphone. Return to the car finder to get your parking details when you’re ready to go.
State Farm sponsors the brand-new car locator function. To be prepared for the debut of the automobile finder this summer, make sure you have the most recent version of the My Disney Experience app. The feature will also debut later this year at Disneyland Resort!
This will be added to the other features of the My Disney Experience app. This includes such things as Mobile ordering at various restaurants around Disney and mobile checkout. From the app, you can also view all of your PhotoPass photos from around the parks.
