Disney Boo Bash Halloween Event This Fall!

Hello, Goulish ghosts and foolish mortals! One of the best times to go to Disney has always been around the Halloween season. In the past, they have had the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. However, this year will be a little different. There was no party during 2020 due to a lot of uncertainty. But this year will be different. With some of the restrictions and questions, Disney has made adjustments to the party. Disney has announced the new Disney Boo Bash Halloween after-hours event.

Article published on May 13, 2021 and updated on June 7th, 2021 to reflect updated information to bring the most accurate information

When will Boo Bash after-hours start?

The first party will be around August 10th and then the final party on October 31st. The after-hour events will start at 9 PM and finish at 12 AM. For those that are not aware, this is a little later time frame than the MNSSHP (Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Pary). However, this is the typical scheduling for after-hour events. For the event-goers, you can get into the park starting at 7PM. The times have not changed for this type of event. This will be a limited capacity event and tickets will go on sale in June.

What will be included with the Boo Bash?

Many of the MNSSHP favorites will make their appearance during the event! Part of the show or music present will be the Cadaver Dans. Magic Kingdom will be decorated to the nines in its Halloween best. This in itself is a must-see. One of the major changes coming to the event is that it will not have a parade. However, do not fear, they are bringing the cavalcades to the event. These will likely have both Disney favorites and villains.

But the biggest parts of MNSSHP that will return to the Boo Bash are the treat stops. These are the areas when you can stop and get candy for Disney’s version of Trick or treating. More things may be added later on but have not been announced. There should be spooky treats galore around the park as with all of the seasonal changes. It is has been released that this will include complimentary treats that will include popcorn, select beverages and ice cream novelties

Can I dress up?

The short answer, yes, yes you can! This is the only time that guests of all ages can dress up. There is only one stipulation for dressing up, that you can not have a face covering such as Darth Vader’s helmet unless you are under the age of 14. But all guests will still be required to wear a cloth face mask at the time of writing this. However, the face mask requirement could change by the time the even rolls around.
