Disney Annual Passholder Price Increase for June 2019

In the middle of the night, Disney has subtly changed its annual passholder prices across the board. Some prices increased more than others but a few of them have been a substantial increase. It was somewhat expected that there would be an increase as there is one every year but this one came as a surprise with how significant it was. This is likely due to the opening of Galaxy’s Edge on August 29th, 2019. The Disney annual passholder price increase will be effective immediately. Along with this, there was also an increase in parking rates, which will be released later today.

What about daily ticket prices?

There are no reported changes to the daily cost of tickets but this is likely in the future. There has already been an increase in the ticket prices earlier this year. With the change in the ticketing system with varying rates, it would be difficult to accurately track if and how much a ticket increases. With this increase, it will impact the people that are down at Disney fairly often at least a few times a year. Now that Galaxy’s Edge is going to be opening and the further expansions taking place in Epcot, it was only a matter of time before the ticket prices would go up. At this point, it looks like the only ticket change will be in Disney annual passholder price increase.
